What I Ate Wednesday

I recently saw a post on another blogger’s site where they were chronicling the Behind The Scenes of what is actually eaten in a day. I really liked the idea and wanted to also try and hold myself more accountable.

My mornings are a mix of checking emails, setting up Facebook posts, working on various logistics planning for the dance studio, and choreographing things in my head. I also get to play with my gorgeous toddler, prepare her breakfast and mine, and try and keep the house looking presentable.

In any case! Here is what I ate today:

Breakfast with snacks! 200grams of Gala Apples and 2 tablespoons of peanut butter. My daughter promptly stole a couple apple slices and a spoonful of peanut butter. A serving of white cheddar cheez-its (again a few were stolen by the little one), and a single mini peanut butter cup.

For lunch, we had a larger lunch so that we’d be good for

dinner. Taco salad with shredded romaine lettuce, braised brisket, homemade pico de gallo, black beans, cheddar, and a Greek Yogurt Lime Cilantro sauce. Tortilla chips on the side! We had this for dinner last night and was a very easy leftover meal.

Dinner was multi-tiered. Grilled cheese (super simple, multi-grain bread with kraft american slices), an egg curry (?!) that was fantastic but a little spicier than I meant to make it, and a slice of Chocolate Caramel Tart that my husband made in lieu of Valentine’s chocolates. Yum!

After making dinner, I went to the studio and taught for a couple hours and am relaxing at home! Hope this was interesting to see. I enjoyed taking the photos (even if they weren’t the prettiest) and it was good to keep track of what I was putting in my body.
